Scissor Lock
The scissor lock is a component of the Universal Cable Lock model UCL932 and an optional cable end for the coiled and straight Small Device Cables. Use the scissor lock to attach a security cable to any equipment including laptop and desktop computers, iPads, netbooks, projectors, televisions, remote controls, retail display items, or furniture.

Option 1: Locate a pre-existing 9/32” hole in the equipment. Insert the locking end of the scissor lock into the hole. Turn the key to lock the scissor lock.

Option 2: Drill a hole with a 9/32” drill bit model DB. This is an excellent way to attach your scissor lock to media carts and other sheet metal furniture.

Option 3: Mount the scissor lock adhesive plate model AP932 to any surface. Lock the scissor lock to the 9/32” hole in the plate. The adhesive base provides clearance for the locking feet of the scissor lock. The adhesive plate can be mounted to any flat surface on computers, iPads, laptops, projectors, medical equipment or furniture.

Option 4: Many media carts have existing holes, but they are not 9/32” in diameter. These openings can be converted to a 9/32” hole with the 1” conversion washer model LW. The conversion washer has a 3M peel & stick adhesive backing. Simply press the washer into place, insert the scissor lock from the other side of the surface and lock it to the washer.
